Sam was determined that this was the summer to get rid of those training wheels. He told us that he is 5 and big boys don't have training wheels on their bikes. So off they came and off he went. I am very proud of him and this is the perfect week for him to master a new skill.
Yesterday his best friends in the world moved (only a mile away, but he is 5, so it might as well have been on the other side of the world!). He has been looking out his window at their house with the saddest little face. Today he had to go to the doctor for his Kindergarten check-up and he got 3 shots to update his vaccinations. He wasn't real happy about that! He told me that this has been the worst week ever.
So you can imagine how happy I am that he has found something to take his mind off his problems.
