Burrrrr

It is another glorious day in Indiana with the high temp expected to be 9°. But with the wind-chill factored in, it feels as cold - 30! So this morning I had a little talk with our family dog Manny, trying to get him psyched up to do his business quick. I was fairly sure we were both on the same page, however immediately upon letting my dog out the door, a flock of birds flew overhead and his concentration was “poof gone”! He barked and ran around in circles for a few minutes and then you could see that the extreme cold hit him. He stopped suddenly like he was stuck in super glue. He looked down at the ground and I swear, if he had a little doggie bubble over his head, you could tell exactly what he was thinking... (What the *&#!) Then one little frozen paw at a time came up into the air. At this point I knew what was ahead of me. I bundled up with every spare piece of clothing I had and ventured out to rescue my pup. Let me tell you, I felt exactly like the picture above after my 10 second rescue mission. It's COLD people!!!
