Cookie Bake 08

The Thayer women gathered again and baked, iced, and ate way to many Christmas cookies. I really love our annual cookie bake. I get to see my aunts, cousins, and mother for the whole day. This year my Aunt Susan hosted the cookie bake at her new house in Columbus, since her house at the lake was flooded early in the summer. We all share our favorite cookies, exchange gifts, go out for dinner, and catch a movie. Then we return to the host's house and divvy up  the hundreds of cookies to take home to our families. Notice all the "Big Swigs" in the picture? That's how we make it through the day! And yes... we all have one of the Christmas aprons that my mother insists we wear the whole day.

How come we don't get to see you in your festive Christmas apron? That's the kind of ultra coolness your blog audience is looking for, sister!

Actually, I would settle for just any photo of you at all...that way we know you're a real person.

Ha! Me too...she's like a phantom blogger! Although as you know I prefer to see myself featured on everyone's blogs!
