I think we're gonna need a bigger boat!

Is it ever gonna stop? It has been raining here since midnight and I think the official rain total is now about 9-10 inches and it is still raining! Almost all of our neighborhood is flooded, but our basement is bone dry. Thank goodness we had a good builder that designed the sump pump correctly. I think we are going to have to put a life jacket on Manny the next time we let him out to pee or he will never make it back to the house.

GREAT... just found out that Johnson County has been declared a disaster area and they are calling in the Coast Guard to save stranded people.
