My mother (the big L) turned 63 this week. We celebrated her birthday with a family dinner at Bynum's Steak House in Indy. Since mom is the dessert chef for cousin Al's wedding next month, she wanted to do another trial run of the wedding cake for the wedding, so she actually made her own birthday cake this year. We all agreed she has perfected the art of "cakery" now and we are looking forward to the desserts at the wedding. Happy Birthday Mom!
